TERMS AND CONDITIONS
Your booking is accepted and subject to the following terms and conditions and by paying your deposit you accept these terms and conditions.
CONFIRMATION OF BOOKING
Your booking is confirmed only when $250 non-refundable deposit amount is paid via our booking system.
PAYMENT OF REMAINING BALANCE
The balance is due 30 days prior to the tour date. You will receive a payment link via email.
REDUCTION IN NUMBERS
If group numbers drop below the number originally booked for, the per person price may increase. A location charge may also apply.
LOCATION CHARGE
Location charges apply for some locations.
BOOKING FEE
Our booking system charges a 1.9% booking fee on the value of the tour. Wine Party Tours Pty Ltd does not profit from this fee.
PAYMENT OF FULL AMOUNT
Full Amount is due 30 days prior to tour date. This is so we can secure bookings with venues. We reserve the right not to book venues until the full amount is paid.
BOND
We may request a security bond which will be held until after the tour (we usually process this on Monday).
You may be required to provide cash or your credit/debit card details as security while on the tour. The service will cease immediately if security isn’t provided.
CANCELLATIONS
All cancellations must be advised in writing and acknowledged by us via return email. The following cancellation charges will apply:
More than 21 days – Loss of $250 deposit
Between 21 days & 7 days – 50% of cost of hire
Less than 7 days – 100% of cost of hire
PUBLIC HOLIDAY SURCHARGE
Many venues, especially restaurants, will charge public holiday surcharge, generally 15% – 20%. These costs will be passed on to our customers.
INDIVIDUAL CANCELLATIONS
Should a person withdraw from the tour we do not provide a refund regardless of the time frame they cancel within. Their place on the bus is transferable.
QUOTATION ERRORS
Wine Party Tours reserves to the right to amend a tour price if a significant error has been made. If you’re not satisfied with the amendment, we will refund you. We are not obliged to honour the quote.
ADVERTISED PRICES
Our best efforts are made to ensure that prices advertised on our website are accurate. Just like you, we’re human, and from time to time errors are made & this can extend to prices advertised on our website and our partners’ websites. If a significant error has been made, we are not obliged to honour the advertised price. If you are unsatisfied, we will refund you.
LARGE VEHICLE FEE
If you book for 12 people or more a large vehicle is required. Should your numbers drop below 12 we reserve the right to charge a fee of $220 if we are unable to secure a smaller vehicle.
If you book for 25 people or more a large vehicle is required. Should your numbers drop below 25 we reserve the right to charge a fee of $220 if we are unable to secure a smaller vehicle.
CANCELLATIONS DUE TO GOVERNMENT MANDATED SHUTDOWN
In the event of a cancellation due to a government mandated shutdown you have the option to:
- change the date of your tour (provided it’s within 12 months) with the following condition: Money that we have paid to venues to secure your booking and tasting MAY OR MAY NOT BE RECOVERABLE. This will depend on the venues’ policies and it is beyond our control. We also cannot guarantee that the venue will be able to accommodate you at a later date.
CLEANING / DAMAGE TO VEHICLE
The client assumes full financial liability for any damage to the vehicle caused during the rental by them or any members of their party even if cost of repair exceeds the bond amount. If any of your guests soil the vehicle by vomiting, excessive spillage of food or beverages or in any other way, the minimum fee is $300.
OVERTIME/WAITING
Should you require the vehicle for additional time not scheduled you will be charged the standard vehicle & driver hire rate in 15 minute increments.
DRIVER’S RIGHT TO TERMINATE TRIP
The driver has the right to terminate the hire without refund on account of unruly, unsafe or disrespectful behavior.
AMENDMENTS
Amendments to the itinerary for venues that have been booked and paid for are NOT permitted.
It is the responsibility of the hirer to check the booking confirmation for accuracy and completeness.
DEVIATION FROM ROUTE
Deviation from route including additional stops are not permitted unless the driver agrees. You will be charged for any overtime if incurred.
FOOD & DRINK
- Food and drink cannot be consumed on board without prior approval.
- Approval will never be given for red wine, drinks in cups or crumbly / messy food ie: chips, sausage rolls, kebabs etc.
- Mixing of drinks is not permitted on the bus.
- Glasses are not permitted on the bus (and we’re not talking about the kind you wear on your face).
ITEMS BROUGHT ONTO THE BUS
All items brought onto the bus must be removed upon completion of journey. Items left on the bus can only be collected by prior arrangement from the depot during business hours.
SMOKING / VAPING
Smoking and vaping is not permitted on any vehicle supplied by us.
SEAT BELTS
Seat belts, when fitted, are compulsory and we have the right to refuse travel if they are not worn.
CIRCUMSTANCES BEYOND OUR CONTROL
WINE PARTY TOURS PTY LTD is not liable for delays due to circumstances beyond our control ie: heavy traffic, extreme weather or venue issues.
TIME LOSS
Any personal expense, entry fees incurred as a result of delays, alteration or curtailment of any charter, whether caused by mechanical defects, flooding, civil unrest/commotion, riots, terrorism, driver mistakes or any other cause, are the responsibility of the CHARTERER. We always try our best to maintain all schedules and understand the importance. If additional expense is incurred for taxis or other transport you agree not to make a claim against us.
DEALS & ARRANGEMENTS
Deals and all other arrangements are obtained on behalf of you and your guests’ as a complimentary additional service by us. These provisions are provided directly by the venues and are out of our control. We cannot offer any guarantees or entertain any comebacks if what we have arranged is not provided. You agree not to make any claims against WINE PARTY TOURS PTY LTD. Some venues require additional entry fees and have strict dress codes and once reached their patron limits cannot allow additional patrons in by law. Additional entry fees may apply.
VENUE AVAILABILITY
All venues are are subject to availability.
DAMAGE INSPECTION PRIOR TO DEPARTURE
We suggest that when you initially board, prior to the other guests boarding, you also inspect the vehicle for any damage prior to departure. That way there will be no dispute as to when the damage occurred.
VEHICLES USED
WINE PARTY TOURS PTY LTD has relationships with other charter suppliers. From time to time the vehicle provided will be that of another company.
VENUES
Venues have a right to refuse entry and service in accordance with relevant laws. No refunds will be given if you are refused entry or service.
